Uncle Ronald Comes To Stay. Watch Out Vtech Soft Singing Radio!

So Uncle Ronald, now out of Turpin General Hospital, arrived today to stay for a bit.  I do like him but clumsy? Came in, nearly trod on my VTech Soft Singing Radio, which had kept me occupied for hours, fell over and came face to face with a my Lego Duplo Brick Box, which  I had hidden under the sofa. I have never seen a man so scared. He moved away from the sofa like lightening. Then he explained. “Sorry old chap” he said to me (one of the reasons why I like Uncle Ronald is that he talks to me as if I was his regimental Sergeant Major, not a Sixteen Month Old Boy) “Sorry, turns out I am allergic to Lego.” Uncle Ronald is allergic to so many things I am amazed he has ever been anywhere or done anything. He brought me a catapult, a  Super Sling Shot Catapult to be precise, that that fires foam balls. Great. Except that I had it in my hands for approximately 13.24 seconds before Mummy took it away, muttering about appropriate presents. Honestly, she never lets me have any fun.  Still, later on uncle Ronald showed me how to make one out of a postman’s rubber band and an old turkey wishbone I’ve been keeping for a special occasion. Really good. It seems Uncle Ronald is staying with us to recuperate before he goes on his next mad-as-a-box-of-baboons field trip, to a South Pacific island in search of the lost gold of some ancient tribe of Island Dwellers. I wonder how he’ll manage. He’s allergic to gold! Anyway. Enough for this week. I got to be going, but don’t forget, you’re never too old to play!
