I put my hand in the cookie jar, to take a crunchy biscuit
My mummy told me not to but I thought that I would risk it.
My hand got stuck for half an hour, it wasn’t very nice
And that’s the last time I ignore my Mummy’s sound advice!
A moral tale indeed, but this cookie jar is never a problem. This jar really takes the biscuit, and helps baby to identify shapes and numbers. There is loads of fun with stop-and-start songs that your baby can control, and fun phrases which will get your little wriggler giggling! Colourful shape sorting is a great activity for a developing child, aiding identification skills. Making the music stop and start teaches cause and effect, and grasping shaped objects enhances and develops fine motor skills, while placing shapes correctly, refines hand to eye co-ordination. So a biscuit barrel of fun and educational in equal measure – any way you look at it, it’s a cracker!
