Yes. Everyone loves Elmo, the furry red character from the award-winning American TV Series Sesame Street. Famous for its Muppets, as created by the late, truly great, Jim Henson, Sesame Street is the longest running children’s TV show in the United States and is widely considered to be one of it’s best and most highly educational shows ever, picking up an incredible 109 Emmy awards since its creation in the late sixties.
Of course, we have been watching Sesame Street here in the UK for a long time too, and one of our favourite Sesame Street characters is Elmo, the ticklish little personality who has his own slot in each show, helping children explore various issues.
